This study explores how life experiences and family mental health relate to brain activity in young adulthood.
What will the study involve?
A 1-hour online questionnaire
A 2-hour in-person visit to our lab, where we’ll measure your brain activity using a safe and non-invasive method called electroencephalography (EEG).
What do participants receive?
Participants can earn up to 6 course credits through SONA (2 credits for the survey + 4 credits for the lab visit).
OR, participants may choose $30 total compensation ($10 for the survey + $20 for the lab visit).
Who can take part?
Adults between 18–30 years old
People with a history of serious neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy) or significant head trauma (loss of consciousness longer than 10 minutes) are not eligible.
